Jan, Registered Dental Assistant
After attending the CSFCC Dental Assisting Program 34 years ago, Jan entered a career in chairside assisting. She has been on the Lunn Dentistry team for 31 years and particularly enjoys working with TMD patients to relieve chronic pain. She explains what causes TMJ dysfunction, how dentistry offers conservative treatment, and then works with the doctors and patient to monitor progress. She finds great personal satisfaction in seeing the joy patients feel when they finally experience comfortable oral function.
For over 20 years, Jan has been married to Kermit, owner of www.TheBirdStuffer.com. The couple parents five cats and two dogs, and they adore their furry family. Jan holds membership with Eastern Star, Lady Shriner, and Ducks Unlimited.
Shelly, Registered Dental Assistant & Front Office Coordinator
As our front office coordinator, Shelly helps patients with insurance claims and will be happy to answer all of your questions regarding billing, payments, and financing. She has worked for Lunn Dentistry so long, our team feels like family to her. Before directing our front office, Shelly worked as a dental assistant for 13 years. She joined our team in December of 2000. Shelly enjoys talking to our patients about their children and families.
After hours, Shelly enjoys spending time with her daughter, Reagan, shopping, and traveling.
Deborah, Certified & Registered Dental Assistant & Technician
Deborah graduated from Nova University with her dental assisting expanded duty license in 2001. She has been a registered and certified dental assistant since 1989, and has been with our practice since 2004. Every day, when Deborah comes in, she looks forward to providing excellent service and care to our patients, whom she considers friends and neighbors. Crown and bridge cases are her favorite because of the happiness patients express after their transformation.
Deborah and her husband are empty nesters. They have three children and four grandchildren.
Cindy Taylor, Dental Hygienist
With 31 years experience Cindy joined our team to provide gentle,comprehensive dental hygiene serices to our patients. she earned her bachlors degree from East Tennessee State University and appreciates the opportunity to educate patients about the benefits of good oral hygiene and it's relationship to overall health.
At home, Cindy and her husband enjoy getting out in nature and walking. Cindy is a native of Chattanooga and she and her husband are members of Silverdale Baptist Church. Cindy has two boys and a daughter-in-law.
