Angela Lunn, DDS
Dr. Angela Lunn graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College in 1980. She then completed registered dental hygienist certification at University of Tennessee before earning a doctorate of dental science from the UT School of Dentistry in 1986. After graduation, Dr. Angela joined her father in practice. The elder doctor had the distinction of being the longest practicing dentist in Tennessee, with 64 years of tenure. Dr. Angela’s brother-in-law, cousins, and uncles are respected dentists, as well.
Dr. Angela married Dr. Riley Lunn in 2007 and the couple went into practice together. While Dr. Angela focused on initial evaluation, periodontics, and cosmetic restoration cases, Dr. Riley focused on temporomandibular joint dysfunction and joint stabilization. Today, Lunn Dentistry has over 50 referring dentists, physicians, and medical professionals who send patients in for TMD diagnosis, analysis, and treatment.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Angela Lunn is a student at Pankey Institute, Dawson Institute, and Schuster Dental Business Institute. Each year, she earns over 100 hours of continuing education credit.
The reason behind her studies? Dr. Angela believes in sharing her wealth of knowledge with patients in a process we call co-diagnosis. She explains her clinical findings, then presents all treatment options so that her patients can make wise, informed decisions. Her goal is to help every patient achieve the level of care they desire. Even patients with extensive dental problems receive complete rehabilitation without guilt or worry. Dr. Angela guides her patients through phased treatment so they can gain complete control of their dental health, then she provides lifelong maintenance for optimal health and a beautiful smile.
