In 1980, Dr. Angela began treating patients as a chair side periodontal dental assistant. Her chair side experience enabled Dr. Angela to understand the importance of patient comfort as a factor in successful dental treatment. Her passion for helping patients with dental anxiety led her to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1982. Continuing her dental education, Dr. Angela completed her degree as Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1986. Dr. Angela empathizes with patients whom have dental anxiety and strives to deliver pain free procedures during their comprehensive evaluations, as well as periodontics, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry treatment. At Lunn Dentistry, we understand how a busy work life make scheduling multiple procedures at one time a more desirable treatment option and we happily accommodate your request.
Dr. Angela became a valued partner when she joined Lunn Dentistry in 2007. In addition to her expertise in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Angela’s experience in the treatment of Phase II TMJ – Long Term Stability compliments to Dr. Riley’s expertise in diagnosing oral and muscle dysfunction and treatment of TMJ symptoms prior to Phase II. Her reputation for quickly creating rapport and putting each patient at ease in her chair is what creates lasting relationships. As a result, her patients keep coming back!
In discussing their health issues, Dr. Angela realized that many of her patients suffered from mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Already treating patients who had TMD/TMJ issues with oral appliance therapy, Dr. Angela realized that oral appliances would be an effective, non-invasive therapy option for patients with OSA. In 2011, Medicare approved reimbursement for custom made Oral Appliance devices for treatment of OSA and today most insurance companies reimburse as well. Dr. Angela continues to seek out cutting edge information to help her patients maintain health and an overall sense of well-being. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, she is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). AADSM is the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of Dental Sleep Medicine. Her membership provides Dr. Angela with access to cutting edge, sleep medicine educational resources that allow her to continue to provide the highest quality of dental care in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. “Dr. Angela was exceptional in explaining various treatment options for my dental care, while I explained my budget restrictions with regard to treatment costs.” — Joe H.

“Everyone was so polite and friendly. Dr. Angela is a doll! The bite wing x-rays (that I’ve had nightmares about in the past) were no problem at all. I don’t know how the technician did it, but I had no discomfort or gagging. Thank you for such an easy and comfortable experience.” — Diane T.
